Big B Amitabh Bachchan is one of the finest actors of Indian cinema and he has been entertaining the Indian audience from the past four decades. He has been busy with multiple films right now and his performance has been bringing him lot of awards along with a shocking remuneration. In his 70s he has been choosing movies that suit his body language and Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in Piku has been quite impressive and he has been awarded National Award as the Best Actor for 2015.
Amitabh Bachchan prefers to be out of controversies and he even maitains a healthy relation with all the actors in Bollywood. He has been recently mired in Panama Papers controversy saying that he has invested huge amounts of money in a foreign company and he is one of the directors of that company. Amitabh Bachchan trashed them as rumors and he explained that he is strictly against such acts.
Now the actor’s name has been brought again into a similar issue. The Income Tax Department reopened a case that took place in 2001 in which the actor has been named for not paying the dues. The actor is all set to face problems on teh financial front revealed sources. Sources revealed that Amitabh Bachchan revealed false income during 2001-2002 for the Income Tax Department and he failed to pay Rs 1.66 crores for the government.
Supreme Court recently granted permission to re-open the case and sources revealed that Amitabh has been having seven accounts out of which only six of them have been named in the accounts. However Amitabh Bachchan has been unavailable to comment on this currently. However sources revealed that the actor is about to face some tough time soon as he will be investigated.
