Anurag Kashyap Against Censor Board for Raman Raghav 2.0


Very talented director Anurag Kashyap had a dark past and he worked as a ghost writer for many super hit movies before he made his debut. Anurag took his time and he came with a bang though he struggled for commercial success during his initial days of his career. However all his movies ended up critically acclaimed and his recent movies have seen decent commercial figures.

For the first time in his career, Anurag Kashyap tried directing a big budget movie titled Bombay Velvet and the movie bombed badly at the box-office. Now after an enough gap, the director is back with his next upcoming movie titled Raman Raghav 2.0. The movie is said to be a thriller and is based on the life story of notorious criminal Raman Raghav who shaked Mumbai during 1960s.

The movie completed shoot sometime ago and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vicky Kaushal played the lead roles in the movie. Made on a crisp budget, the movie is one of the most awaited films that will hit the screens. The theatrical trailer of Raman Raghav 2.0 will leave everyone speechless. It has been thoroughly stunning and the makers made sure that the film will hit the screens at the right time.

Anurag Kashyap faced several problems with the censor board earlier and during the trailer launch of Raman Raghav 2.0, the director made some hot comments on the censor board. He said “I hope the censor board members will be kind towards Raman Raghav 2.0 and I am not ready to accept any cuts for the movie. There are many important things in the film that are bold and should be revealed.

Produced by Phantom Films along with Reliance Entertainments, Raman Raghav 2.0 has been slated for release on June 24th across the world.
