Fabulous Choreographer and director Remo D’Souza wants his forthcoming movie Flying Jat starrer Youngster Tiger Shroff to be an answer to Hollywood’s action movies. The movie will be introducing a Punjabi superhero on Indian screens for the very first time.
Also featuring Jacqueline Fernandez, the director of ABCD 2 Feels that the subject of Flying Jat is very challenging, he aims at raising the bar of superhero films in India through the movie.
The filmmaker Remo D’Souza said, “The film will see the first Punjabi superhero. It is a big subject. It is something I have to prove it again. With ABCD 2, I had to prove that dancing could be of a certain level and with this film I have to show that a superhero film can be made in India like this.”
“Like we always see ‘Avenger’, ‘Spider-Man’, ‘Superman’ and I want to take this film on the level so that Indian people think that we also have our superhero film. It is my answer to the foreign superhero movies,” he added.
Remo is happy with the way the movie is going on and taking its shape and is looking forward to its second schedule in mid-August.
Earlier, the title of the movie was set to be ‘The Flying Sikh’ but then the association of the title with Milkha Singh was too strong that it got changes to ‘Flying Jat’. It is also heard that the Tiger Shroff will be playing a super-hero in a turban.
The director is trying to make Flying Jat a movie with Punjabi superhero just like the one we see in Hollywood movies and he is also appointing experts of special effects from Hollywood. Now let’s see what the makers will show to the audiences this time.
