Chinese film regulators announced three films which will be made in cooperation with China and India. This announcement was made during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to China.
In this consent, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ is the first film in which Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Chinese Kung Fu star Jackie Chan will be featured.
“Kung Fu yoga ‘ is a combination of Indian culture and Chinese martial arts. It is the smartest way to bring together these two artists.
The second film will be Wong Kar Wai which will be based on the life of Xaun Zang, a noted Buddhist monk during the Tang dynasty (618-908), who made an arduous journey to India to study Buddhism.
While the third movie is Da Nao Tian Zhu, will become the first film directed by Chinese film star Wang Baoqiang.
All three films are commissioned under a filmmaking agreement between India and China, made during President Zi Jinping’s India visit in 2014.
Co-production of these films will help Indian movies gain access to China by circumventing a quota system from imported films. This co-production will also help Chinese movies.
