Te3N: A Remake of a Korean Thriller


Big B Amitabh Bachchan who crossed his 70s has been picking up films that have realistic touch throughout and those far from commercial cinema. Trade analysts say that Amitabh has been essaying roles that are near to his age and so he has been getting outstanding results with his movies. His recent outing Piku received exceptional response from the audience and he has been recently felicitated with National Award for his performance in the movie.

He wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming movie titled Te3N which is said to be a thriller and it has been directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui essayed the other important roles. The makers revealed out the theatrical trailer of the movie which has been completely thrilling throughout. The suspense elements are said to be the major highlights of the trailer. Te3N has been shot completely in Kolkata.

As per the latest update, Te3N is the remake of a Korean movie titled Montage that released in 2013. This South Korean thriller won many awards and the movie is about a woman who is in search of a kidnapped daughter. With slight changes, Te3N is about a grandfather who will be in search for a baby girl who happens to be his grand daughter.

Sujoy Ghosh, Captain Gulab Singh Tanwar, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Suresh Nair, Sameer Rajendran and Gauri Sathe produced Te3N which has been made on a budget of Rs 35 crores. The entire shoot of the movie has been wrapped up by January 31st and the makers kickstarted the promotions recently. Te3N has been slated for a wide release across the world on June 10th and the expectations are huge on the film. The movie has been initially slated for May 20th release but it has been pushed further to avoid clash with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Sarabjit.
