“The BFG” is an upcoming fantasy-adventure film based on a story of children’s book written by Roald Dahl. The film is based on a lifetime fantasy adventure of a ten-year old, Sophie when she encounters the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance). The film is apparently scary at first when Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance) kidnaps ten-year old Sophie. But then Sophie finds out that a 24-foot behemoth, the Big Friendly Giant (BFG), is quitegentle and a kindhearted soul. Abandoned by other giants, starrer the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance) is considered as an outcast by other giants because unlike his peers he refuses to eat boys and girls. As the friendship of the two grows, Sophie’s presence attracts the unwanted attention of other giants such as Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, etc.

Both Sophie and his friend, the Big Friendly Giant, travel to London to convince Queen of Victoria to help them get rid of all bad and ferocious giants.

The film is produced by Walt Disney Studios and is filmed in various locations around U.K. “The BFG” will be released on its scheduled date i.e. 1st July in 2D and 3D theatrical formats in selected territories and theatres by Walt Disney Studios.
